Friday – Free practice followed by controlled practice to seed qualifying.
Saturday – Qualifying (4 rounds) and lower finals (depending on entries).
Sunday – Finals
Nitro Qualifying:
– The heats will be counted by laps and time. For the qualifying ranking a point system will be used. The heat duration is 6min + 3min warm-up.
Nitro Finals:
– The finals will be raced arranged in heart-of-America style with 10 drivers directly qualified into the A-Final and 8 drivers in each of the lower mains (B-Final, C-Final,…).
– The top 2 finishers from each lower final will progress into the next final to make 10 drivers in all A-Final.
– The duration of the finals will be: A-Final 45 minutes, all lower finals will be 20 minutes.
– A 10 minute delay can be requested only before the A+B-final and only before the drivers have been called to the starting grid.
Electric Qualifying:
– The heats will be counted by laps and time. For the qualifying ranking a point system will be used. The heat duration is 5min.
Electric Finals:
– The finals will be raced arranged in heart-of-America style with 10 drivers directly qualified into all Finals with no bump ups.
– All finals will be triple finals of 5 minutes with the points from the best two mains counting.
This is a handout tyre. Each racer can receive up to 4 complete sets for the entire race weekend (3 days) with racers in the main final able to purchase one additional set.
Transmission:
Only shaft transmission cars are allowed, buggy configuration, no belt driven chassis are permitted. A maximum of a 2 speed gear box is allowed.
One-ways, spools, locking ‘torsion-type’, or externally adjustable differentials are not permitted. Front & rear gear differentials can only be tuned with the use of silicone-based oils. No centre differential is allowed. Ball differentials are not permitted. Front and rear differential gear ratios must be identical with NO front or rear underdrive or overdrive (The final drive ratio front and rear must be the same).
Chassis:
The chassis must have a minimum kick up of 5 degrees in the front.
Overall dimensions:
Width: Max. 310.0mm, including wheels, axles and wheel-nuts.
Height: Minimum height 155.0mm with chassis plate on 20mm blocks.
Weight:
Nitro: 3500gram minimum race ready with fuel tank empty.
Electric: 3700gram minimum race ready with battery.
Fuel tank: The maximum capacity for the fuel tank, including fuel line to carburettor is 150cc.
Body: Bodies must be commercially available 1/8th scale GT1, GT2, Super GT, DTM, or V8 Supercar cars, 2 door GT bodies. The rear wing can be no higher than 10mm above the roof line.
Engine: Engines allowed will be .21 / 3.5cc engines with a maximum of 5 ports.
Clutch: This must be a centrifugal type with a maximum of 4 shoes. No axial engagement of the shoes i.e. ‘Centax’ Type clutches are allowed. The clutch must use radial centrifugal shoes only in conjunction with Std parallel sided cylindrical clutch bell.
Carburettor: A maximum 7mm venturi is allowed.
INS-box: This is mandatory
Exhaust: All EFRA approved 3 chamber pipes are allowed.
Fuel: 16% Nitro is the maximum allowed and fuel will be checked on track using a Nitromax.
Battery: Lithium based batteries with a nominal voltage of no more than 15.2 volts (4S). It is allowed to use 2 x 2S.
Body: Bodies must be commercially available 1/8th scale GT1, GT2, Super GT, DTM, or V8 Supercar cars, 2 door GT bodies. The rear wing can be no higher than 10mm above the roof line.
Motor: A maximum of 2850kv.
ESC: The use of ESC is open.
